The attendees showed particular interest in the SIPLACE D-Series’ many innovations such as the digital vision system and the latest SIPLACE software. The new SIPLACE D-Series was developed to provide an optimum price-performance ratio and combines the latest innovations with proven technology, such as the tried-and-true SIPLACE Collect & Place heads, reliable SIPLACE S feeders and robust linear drives of the well-known SIPLACE platform — maximum investment protection is therefore guaranteed. But that’s not all: the SIPLACE D-Series also is equipped with the new and highly innovative SIPLACE digital vision system for maximum placement accuracy, the latest SIPLACE software and the flexible SIPLACE dual transport system — features that were previously available only on the premium SIPLACE X-Series. The concept impressed customers as well as an independent jury which honored the SIPLACE D-Series with the Global Technology Award 2006 during the Assembly Technology Exposition.
